José Pedroso de Melo is the most recent "acquisition" of CCA  Advogados, a national and international tax law expert, who joined and was appointed to head the tax law department of the Lisbon office.

A law graduate of the 1996 class of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portuguese Catholic University) and holder a post graduate degree awarded by Instituto Superior de Estudos Financeiros e Fiscais (Higher Institute for Fiscal and Financial Studies) (IESF) in 1997, José Pedroso de Melo started as an intern at Castro Silva & Associados, and later he joined B.L.&C- Auditores e Consultores as Director and worked as senior counsel in the tax departments of  Garrigues, Leónidas, Matos;  PLMJ and more recently,  Raposo Bernardo & Associados.

Furthermore, this tax law specialist has been listed on the tax arbitrators´ roster of Centro de Arbitragem Administrativa (CAAD - Administrative Arbitration Center) since the corresponding publication in 2011.
